KCW Day 1: Houndstooth Fleece Pullover--Yes, in June.

 The Varsity Neck Pullover by Peek-A-Boo Patterns is a pattern I sewed once before and loved how easy it was. My son has worn the navy version with elbow patches I sewed last fall several times and seems to like it. It's worn well, always a plus. 

So I purchased some houndstooth fabric at JoAnn Fabric a few weeks ago and wanted to make another version. But this time I drafted a hood. And added a front pocket. 

It turned out very nicely. I crossed over the hood in the front. 

I made the size 6 adding length to the bottom and sleeves.  And next time will make the 7 since it is snug to get on and off. Love this pattern. It is so simple. And there's a new version out that goes up to size 12.
