I used the tutorial from here to make these newborn sized baby pants (from an old t-shirt). And I had to make a matching bandana bib, too! Our new baby will need new bibs, some were completely worn out and terribly stained!

Bibs and Baby Hats
Just a quick few projects I've been working on the past weeks...I have a few items of clothing that I've made but failed to photograph and share. (It is a little harder lately to get photos of items I've made for myself.) I'm sure I'll get around to sharing them...eventually. I've been altering clothing, too.
But now I present...bibs. Little toddler guys need bibs that cover a large surface area and can't be easily removed. The bibs we have are embarrassingly stained. So our littlest guy needed a few new ones. So I grabbed some scraps and made him a few new bibs (same pattern from here and here.)

Easter is coming...I have a few bunny bibs for sale in my Etsy shop. They are machine-appliqued with bunnies. So cute. Hop on over to check them out.

Knit Baby Bibs
Only about five more weeks until our new baby arrives! I’m excited to meet the baby and find out if it is a boy or a girl. I love not knowing while I’m pregnant, but I’m always excited to find out when the baby arrives!
I made some bibs for this baby because I bought some new clothes for the baby (I have two older boys but most of their clothes will be in the wrong season.) And if it is a girl, she’ll need a lot of new things! So I figure I’d better cover up any cute new outfits with cute bibs.

Sewing for Baby: Bibs with Handmade Bias Tape
Making a bib for a baby is nothing new. Nothing exciting. But hand-me-down bibs do get stained. And when they start to look as stained as the ones our new baby would have to wear, it never hurts to have a few new ones.

Machine Applique Tips
I love making things for babies. I made some sweet little bunny and robot theme bibs. I used my plain old sewing machine for doing the appliques. And I had no idea my machine could do applique so nicely.

Valentine’s Day Bib.
I’ve had great feedback from handmade bibs I’ve sold. The two most common praises have been they cover kids’clothing and the snaps keep them securely fastened.
I figured I’d make a Valentine’s Day design for my shop.

Sleepy Bunny Bib
I made this bib as a gift for a cousin on my husband’s side who is due with a baby at the beginning of April! It is a refashion project as well….I’ll let you know how at the end.
I got this adorable bunny applique pattern from Make it Perfect. The blog’s author has a book and a whole line of patterns. I have not worked much with appliques, but this turned out to be fun.

Baby Bibs
I made a few bibs this past week using the “Myrtle the Turtle” bib tutorial I posted forever ago.
Though these bibs do not have Myrtle on them, I think they turned out really well. I used some super cute fabric I had sitting around.
I have listed them for sale in my Etsy Shop. Check them out. I listed more foam stamps, too.
I have two more bibs I’ll share later this week. Or sometime.
