I found this recipe a few years ago in Taste of Home magazine and made these truffles. They were amazing and I recently made them again and had to share the recipe.
1/2 cup butter, softened1. In a large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar. Beat in the vanilla. Gradually add the flour and milk, alternating after each addition. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts. Shape into 1-in. balls; place on waxed paper and refrigerate for 1 hour.
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 t vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup chocolate chips (I chopped regular sized ones in a chopper, you could use mini chips)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 1/2 bags of semisweet chocolate chips to melt as coating
2. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave and stir until smooth. Dip the balls in coating and place on the waxed paper again. Refrigerate until firm. Store in refrigerator.
Oh these look so yummy thanks for showing them off! I showed this post off tonight at the party!
