Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles

I found this recipe a few years ago in Taste of Home magazine and made these truffles. They were amazing and I recently made them again and had to share the recipe.

1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 t vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup chocolate chips (I chopped regular sized ones in a chopper, you could use mini chips)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 1/2 bags of semisweet chocolate chips to melt as coating
1. In a large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar. Beat in the vanilla. Gradually add the flour and milk, alternating after each addition. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts. Shape into 1-in. balls; place on waxed paper and refrigerate for 1 hour.
2. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave and stir until smooth. Dip the balls in coating and place on the waxed paper again. Refrigerate until firm. Store in refrigerator.
