I made two pairs of shorts for two of my three boys. They are pretty cute! I purchased a pattern from Peek-A-Boo Pattern shop. It is the Coastal Craze Baggies. (Affiliate links.)
I used my serger to put these together.I used a quilting weight cotton fabric I’ve had in my stash for awhile (Birch fabric? something like that.)
And they have pockets! Big pockets. I loved this pattern and can’t wait to make more shorts for my biggest boy.
I left the pockets off of the back of this pair.
The waist and contrast on the pockets are from an old t-shirt.
Here’s a view of the inside:
I made a mini pair for my littlest boy. They are made from one of my husband’s worn-out shirts. They also have pockets, but what is the point of pockets for a 12 month old’s shorts? I don’t know. But they are cute.
They’re a little big for him yet, so he isn’t modeling them.
